Happy Father’s Day--What I Learned From My Dad
- How to ride a bike.
- Do what is right even if it is not easy or convenient.
- Love of nature and country living.
- Independence
- Be your own boss and run your own business.
- How to drive a car.
- Importance of saving money and living modestly.
- Keep an even temper.
- Cooking on the grill.
Other values such as family first, discipline and accountability, nothing good comes easy, homemade meals are the best.
Our lives are shaped by the people we have in our lives. Sometimes good, sometimes not so good, but there are always lessons to be learned from them if you take time to reflect on them and be grateful. I hope you take the time to reflect on some lessons you have learned and memories you still cherish from father figures in your life.
Happy Father’s Day to all the Dads out there–living and deceased.
